The focus is on you - the handler, instilling confidence in your ability to correct and guide your dog. Introduction to the use of energy to help you achieve a high level of leadership. You now have the basics skills of a proven leader and the focus in level 2 is on your dog. Your dog has the necessary respect for you allowing it to achieve new levels of behaviour through the work in this class. Your knowledge will also advance. Canine behaviour theory covered in Levels 1 and 2 In Level 1 the main theory discussion takes place in the first class in a large room set up as a home environment. This places your dog in a familiar setting. Your dog will be observed while the theory is being presented to address any serious behaviour problems early in the course. You are encouraged to share your concerns and goals during this period. There is a question period starting each class and this also provides an opportunity to discuss theory in the context of specific training issues. In Level 2 theory discussions take place throughout the course and discussions based on videos of dog body language are held later in the course. Topics Covered:
